Steve carried out a fiddly job edging my patio area and building a retaining wall which I would then in fill with gravel. He did an excellent job, very neat and tidy, obtained all the materials and left the site clean and tidy to. Although not a big job he respected it and was on site all day when working and didn’t flit off to other jobs. I would thoroughly recommend him!

Steve responded to my request for a quote in a fast and timely manner. He was very professional from quote to completion of works. It was just a small job replacing some cracked bricks and mortar on the front of the house and the results are excellent. Steve left the area clean and tidy and I would highly recommend him for any works you need.

Steve and his team did an incredible job of completing and project managing our kitchen/dining room wall knock through and kitchen re-fit. The work he did for us was high quality and once he started the work, he did not leave until it was all finished, both within the timescale and budget. Steve was very professional and trustworthy, he kept me updated with the works progress and next steps all the way through. Steve and the team took great care and consideration during the building work, they were extremely tidy (given they were knocking a wall down!) and considerate of our neighbours. Steve and his team were a pleasure to have working on our house for the three months the project took to complete. We had a 34 square metre single storey infill extension built at the rear of our property, with bifold doors, windows and a knock through to open up into one room. After this we had a patio built across the back of the house. This was the first building project we had ever had done. Steve was very good at explaining each stage of the build as it happened and making us aware of any problems he had encountered and how he would overcome them. He also frequently consulted on any specification changes or decisions that we wanted to make which helped us get exactly what we wanted. He managed the site extremely well, keeping everything neat and tidy and minimising any disruption. He even screened off the interior of the house during the knock through so that we could carry on as normal and maintain our privacy, and preventing the dust from spreading everywhere. The project was completed on time and to budget. Very impressed and would definitely recommend and use Steve again!

Steve Rouse was engaged as the main contractor to build a large [8m x 4m] Garden Room extension on the rear elevation of our barn conversion home. It is oak-framed with aluminium sliding glazed frames all supplied and erected by other contractors. Steve and his team dealt with all the necessary ground works, foundations and erection of new brickwork plus ancillary carpentry for the pitched and flat roofing and installation of Velux windows and all drainage. He was also responsible for the breaking through and opening-up of the wide access points to the existing house structure and corresponding making good. Steve proved to be very reliable and co-operative and prompt in getting the job done to a good standard of workmanship. We have been most pleased with the final result.
