Stephen has recently completed a major refurbishment of our bathroom, also new floor tiling in our hallway & cloakroom. Stephen refurbished two bathrooms for us last year and he's been back to do our hallway. He re-plastered, painted, laid new flooring, replaced several doors, and replaced our stair bannister. As usual all work was excellent quality and he was considerate and careful in working around us. Highly recommended and he'll be back to do more for us.

Stephen has carried out a number of jobs for us over the years and there in nothing he cannot turn his hand to from fitting a brand new kitchen or bathroom, complete with tiling, under floor heating, plastering and all plumbing. Stephen has just finished an accessible wet room for us. He supported us with the design and visited us on a number of evenings prior to starting work to make sure he fully understood our requirements. He is honest, reliable, tidy and highly professional. I have now had Stephen working at my house for the last few months, and can’t fault him. He turns up when he says he will, never leaves a mess, is trustworthy, and there’s nothing he can’t do. He has fitted oak doors, a utility room, oak flooring, bathrooms with tiling, painted, and made the most amazing book cases with cupboards at the bottom. Look him up on Instagram to see the work he has done, it’s incredibly professional, and he never moans when you change your mind and ask him to repaint because you don’t like the colour you’ve chosen! He is a rare talent with incredible attention to detail.

Having invited Stephen to refit our cloakroom last year, we let him back in to quote us for a wetroom. From the outset he came up with some really clever ideas on how we could approach the design, so without hesitation we gave him the go-ahead. Within days he had completely demolished our old bathroom and filled our garage with very cool fixtures and fittings. We went on holiday when Stephen was halfway through the job, leaving him with the keys and a kettle. When we returned we had a fabulous wetroom all ready to get wet in. Stephen is a great find; industrious, ingenious and a master of all he does. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him!

Stephen has completely transformed our hall and stairway. All the walls and ceilings have been re-plastered and painted throughout, with new bannisters and wooden flooring fitted. He also papered the hall and built a bespoke cupboard to house the electric meters. We are very pleased with the outcome, his workmanship is top notch his and attention to detail is excellent. Stephen has done work for us in the past and we cannot recommend him highly enough.

Stephen Hill has totally transformed 2 rooms in my house, including bricking up an existing archway and creating a separate doorway. He has plumbed and fitted a utility room, plastered and decorated and has not moaned once when I kept changing my mind! His workmanship is exceptional, I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

Stephen recently completed a total refurbishment of our en-suite shower room. We had used Stephen previously to refurbish our family bathroom and based on our experiences we had no hesitation is working with him again. Stephen is a pleasure to work with - he listened to our requirements and offered constructive builds to the final design. He is a very effective communicator keeping us informed as to the progress and status of the work. If any problems occurred he always found ways to address them. He made every effort to protect carpets etc and left the house and drive clear every evening. He completed the job on time and to the agreed estimate. I can thoroughly recommend this business.

Stephen has completed a bedroom refurbishment, which included plastering of ceiling and walls , making good uneven floor and replacing floor surface, together with new lighting, a work surface and cupboard, replaced skirting and architraves also Stephen has completed bathroom , shower and cloakroom as well as door replacements and ceramic tiles for kitchen floor, previously for us and can recommend him for outstanding high quality work at reasonable prices He always leaves with tidy clean finishes at the end. We could not recommend Stephen enough, he has done an amazing job on our house. The work he carried out was a complete refurbishment of the house interior, involving re plastering, installing a new central heating system in the roof, fitting a new bathroom and kitchen and fitting laminate flooring - this was all done to a very high standard and we were beyond pleased with the work he did. He also managed the job very well, helping us when needed with making decisions and giving helpful suggestions where he could. He was very easy to communicate with and if any issues arose he was quick to help solve them.

Stephen and Mick were recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad that I took the recommendation. They installed a new boiler re-locating it in to an upstairs airing cupboard and removed our old system. They completed the job to a very high standard in just one day. They were both extremely professional, polite and they made sure the work created minimal disruption to our day. They also provided a very competitive price compared to that given to us by British Gas. They made sure the house was left in a clean state after the job was completed. I would highly recommend them and will definitely call upon them again for future projects in the house.

We have used Stephen for over 7 years to fit an en suite bathroom and to modernise the plumbing system in our old house. He recently fitting a new shower pump within hours of being asked to do so. He is very competent, always cheerful and very reliable.

Steve has done a huge variety of work for us over many years, including amongst loads of other things, lots of outstanding tiling and fitting our bathroom. The reason we always ask Steve is because we 100% trust that he’s going to do a fantastic job, with great attention to detail, whatever the ask may be! Today was a great example where we had a leak from a very difficult to reach pipe. Very kindly, Steve came along on his way home from the job he was doing, identified the leak, explained the cause (I like an explanation!), then fixed it all in less than an hour, including dismantling and putting the cupboard back together! We always seem to have a list of ‘things’ on the go for Steve to come and sort out for us, and it’s always a pleasure to chat to him when he’s busy working away…. Nearly time for the next visit :)

Stephen has recently refurbished our family bathroom. He was on time every day and left the area clean when he had finished every evening. Stephen was very knowledgable and helped overcome any issues that came up during the work. He also made sure that we had a usable bath every day throughout, which was much appreciated. Steve has done a lot of work for us over the years, and it is always immaculate. He is methodical and professional in his approach, he always does far more than we ask of him [eg adding extra 'future-proofing' and additional strengthening where necessary] and is great at giving advice as he goes along on how we can best maintain everything ongoing. Nothing is too much trouble for Steve, and we always talk through our thoughts and requirements with him, no matter how half-baked and incomplete our ideas are, and together we reach a good agreement on how best to proceed in such a way that everyone is happy. Amazing craftmanship, he has a real pride in his work and a great after-care service, and is a very very lovely chap to boot - unconditionally recommended!

I cannot recommend Stephen highly enough. After refitting our bathroom and en-suite in 2019 we knew that we wanted him to renovate our kitchen, dining area and utility room. Unfortunately Covid and lockdown meant that it didn’t happen until this year but what a job he did! We are absolutely delighted with the work that he and his team carried out. Stephen’s work is exemplary from joinery and plumbing to plastering and his tiling work is excellent. He has a great eye for detail and we valued his advice throughout the project. We needed someone to work on our kitchen so who were we going to call? Well, Stephen Hill of course! He fitted a kitchen, two bathrooms and a utility room in our old house and the work has always been done to a high standard..Stephen is a skilled worker and can do all plumbing, carpentry, flooring and tiling jobs. Steve has recently fitted a new kitchen in our new house; he said it would be ready for Christmas and it was! He is a very clean and tidy worker and leaves the works in the best possible way at the end of every day. He is very trust worthy and you just leave him with a key and he gets on with the job. I am happy to say that Stephen is always available at the end of the phone and turns up when he says he would. The whole refurbishment took two weeks and he started on the 1sr December. I was anxious about starting this project just before Christmas but we are delighted with the final result. We would highly recommend Stephen Hill for any refurbishments to bathrooms and kitchens.

After Stephen refurbished our bathroom last year, he was the obvious choice when we decided to change the kitchen. As always, Stephen was very helpful throughout the planning stage, patiently answering questions and offering good advice. The refurbishment came at a stressful time, as my partner was unexpectedly admitted to hospital. Stephen refitted my en suite shower room last Autumn and did a brilliant job so I went straight to him when I was ready to do the same to the kitchen. He gave good advice and was very reassuring. Stephen has just finished working with us again on yet another project. This time he has installed a totally brand new bathroom. Stephen removed our existing bathroom and then had to completely reconfigure our new one as we had moved the sanitary ware from it's original site. But nothing is too much trouble and no job is too difficult. He comes up with good ideas and solutions or is happy to go along with your plan, sourcing all of the new sanitary ware for you. This bathroom is also a wet room so a lot of ground work was needed for the shower area and specific cuts in the tiling. It really is a piece of art and 100% perfection as he is a perfectionist. He is punctual, polite, hardworking, has a good sense of humour and is a joy to have around. We would not hesitate to recommend his skills to anyone.

Stephen has just completed my en-suite shower room. He completely gutted the old one and replaced it with a new shower, toilet, basin, floor and wall tiles, lighting and other details. I had put off the job for ages fearing the process would be problematic and stressful, especially as I live in a first floor flat. Within a day or two I realised my project was in good hands. Stephen Hill has done number of jobs for us over the years, a kitchen update, cloak room refurbish and now a complete refurbishment of out bathroom involving completely stripping the original bathroom and refitting to our specification. Stephen was very helpful during the planning stage giving advice on layout, equipment, units, and all aspects of the new shower room. The work started on the date agreed and completed within the planned time scale with no delays or breaks. Stephen and Rick arrived promptly and worked diligently with consideration leaving the house tidy, and where possible in a usable state. Stephen Hill is a Master Craftsman. He has refurbished both the kitchen and bathroom as well as doing other smaller jobs around the house. All jobs have been to a first class standard. If you are looking for a bathroom or kitchen update or a whole new bathroom or kitchen to be fitted then this is your man... Stephen's work is second to none. 5 year's ago he completely gutted our large kitchen with all it's outdated units and transformed it by fitting all of our chosen units and appliances, with lots of attention to detail and finishing touches along the way, also laying our beautiful new tiled floor with underfloor heating. 2 year's ago he did a bathroom update for us. But more recently, this year, he has done a complete fit of a new bathroom in our house extension. We are so pleased with the finished result and all the care and attention Stephen has taken to make the most of all the space available. He also fitted a new boiler during this time. He is accommodating and happy to give suggestions, 100% reliable and has a lovely calm manner and a good sense of humour which also means he is a joy to have around the house, but more importantly, you always know he is going to do a good job!

This is the second time Stephen has worked in our house. Bathroom completely stripped out, floor and walls fully tiled, shower refitted, grab rails and heated towel rail fitted and transformed to a wet room to incorporate disability needs. Stephen’s work ethos and standard of workmanship is extremely high. He is punctual, polite and friendly, extremely hard working, very tidy and keeps you fully informed of progress. The job was completed to a very high standard and was undertaken whilst social distancing was necessary with great care taken in respect of the guidelines. Stephen has recently refurbished our ensuite. Tricky circumstances as Coronavirus interrupted his work and we had a break of 6 weeks before he was able to return as per Government guidelines. Stephen was brilliant at working to the social distancing rules - always wearing a mask and gloves and maintaining social distancing whenever we needed to discuss anything. He is very conscious of the safety of customers and we are very grateful for the steps he took to keep us all safe. The ensuite is now finished and totally fantastic. Thanks!

This weekend Stephen and Mick installed a new pressurised hot water system into our home to replace the existing system with a new installation. They ensured that our requirements were fully understood, properly designed and installed in a very efficient way. This ensured that the airing cupboard and installation made the best use of the available space, whilst still giving us adequate space for drying. Certainly, the installation was much more professionally installed and cleaner than the previously installed system. They were both extremely professional and very efficient, having removed all the old system and replaced with a very well installed new system in less than a day. I would say that the work was all completed with minimal disruption and ensured that we were only without running water for a very short period during the day. Both Stephen and Mick ensured that the house was very well protected in terms of dust-sheets and the once the work was all completed, the house and work area was left in a very clean state. The hot water system was all fully tested, the heating system refilled and bled through so by the end of the day we had a fully operational heating and pressurised hot water system ready to go. All the old system was removed and disposed of in a responsible way for recycling purposes. We are very pleased and impressed with the complete process, from initial review, design, quotation and installation point of view. Stephen and Mick are highly recommended for anyone looking to replace or upgrade to a pressurised hot water system

I have used Stephen in the past when he fitted my kitchen and corrected many flaws with my bathroom following a poor installation from another group of builders. I was not sure he was still in the area so I contacted him with regard to the removal of kitchen wall units for a boiler swap out and I was informed that this is an area that they are now able to cover. He came out with his team to assess the work and soon after he was asked to go ahead with the work As expected and as he has done in the past the job was completed in an amazing time and to the highest standard. Stephen takes a great deal of pride in his job and always delivers to the highest calibre. He is very trusting and reliable; you can simply give him the keys to your house and come back to see the job complete with no mess. His prices are more than fair given the high standard of work and he always keeps you updated on progress and if there re issues he will consult with you and look at different options without. He is a very pleasant person and is jovial in manner and very easy to get on and is an asset to his trade especially when there are so many rogue tradesman. The same applies his colleagues who between them are able to cover all aspects of building and heating work. I would always recommend Stephen for any work and will be using him again in the not too distant future for some bathroom work and for regular boiler inspections.

Stephen put in a new wet room / shower room for us that would be suitable for wheelchair access and the specific needs that we required. As well as designing and fitting the wet room, Stephen provided easy access in to the room by widening spaces. As well as ensuring the practical disability needs were met, all of the work carried out was to a fantastic standard and looks amazing. Stephen is a lovely man and was very respectful to our family and the difficulties we are facing with my husband's recent return home from hospital. He was timely and reliable, and kept us informed throughout the whole process. He also changed our boiler and heating system. His pricing is very competitive and charged very reasonably for a few extra smaller jobs while he was here too. We now have an amazing shower room space that meets all of our family's needs and will make a huge difference to our every day living. I can't recommend Stephen highly enough.

Stephen has done several jobs at my house, bathroom and kitchen refurbs. I have worked with many builders in the past and I think Stephen is the best! Stephen has also helped me select the bathroom and kitchen parts required. He has access to many ranges of kitchen and bathroom supplies which suit any budget. His work is precise and is very timely. He can plaster, tile, plumb and other tricky jobs. He also has other good contacts (electricians, etc) that work along side of him when required. I have recommended him many times to local friends. What a good find Stephen was, his calm approach to both projects he has carried out for us. The complete removal and instalment of our new kitchen, including all new units, appliances, shelving, wall tiling, tiled flooring and underfloor heating. Equally the removal and fitting of a new shower cubicle was superb. He takes great pride in his work which is 1st class and we would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Stephen has worked on our bathroom and kitchen (twice in both cases). He has re plastered virtually out whole house and done numerous other smaller jobs for us. If ever we have a problem he is the first person we contact. High quality craftsmanship, skilled, reliable and reasonable prices. When we last had our bathroom changed we gave him a key, went on holiday and returned to find the job completed to his usual high standard. No hesitation in recommending Stephen.

Stephen is the complete professional, highly skilled, very knowledgeable and very precise and accurate in all aspects of his different spheres of work, plumbing, tiling, plastering, carpentry etc. He has re-fitted three different bathrooms for us over a number of years as well as doing other plumbing work. Stephen Hill installed the most amazing new kitchen for us. This involved taking out the original kitchen, re-plastering, fitting units, work surfaces, sink, hob, microwave, dishwasher, double oven and fridge and tiling walls and floor. His is a talented craftsman with an outstanding eye for detail. Stephen is totally trustworthy, reliable and polite and tidies up fully at the end of each day. I would recommend him highly.

Over the last few years Stephen Hill has done a number of jobs for us. Most recently he replaced the worktops in the kitchen and fitted new sink, tap, hob and oven. Stephen has always started on time, protected surfaces and carpets and cleaned up at the end of the day. He works quickly and efficiently ensuring the minimum disruption to running water etc. We would definitely get him to quote for any work in the future.

Steve is an extremely reliable worker who takes great pride in his work. He totally re-did our bathroom eight years ago, and to this day we have had zero problems with any element of it. His tiling work is immaculate, and he takes that extra time to make sure he understands exactly what the customer wants, and gets it right every time without fail. I wouldn't hesitate to unconditionally recommend Steve for any bathroom, kitchen, tiling and "any other work" you might need doing.
