John was great, turned up with 2 hours of me first calling & replaced the lock within 30 minutes. He gave me a quote on the phone in advance, so I knew what I was paying. Very friendly & happy to talk through all options as well. Great service.

We would highly recommend John and ASAP Locksmiths. We had a problem with our front door lock and keys which were sticking. I left a message today for John who responded within 30 minutes, and as he was in the area headed over to us as his next job. John advised us of our options but it was obvious that we needed to replace the lock. This was done quickly and professionally and we now have a working lock and sufficient spare keys to cover all eventualities.

John responded extremely quickly and soon had it working; he oiled the mechanism and it’s now operating smoothly and the cost was fair. We had a sudden problem with the lock/handle mechanism on our UPVC front door, we could not lock it from the inside. I phoned John straightaway that evening, he advised how to secure the door overnight and arrived just after 9 AM the next day. He diagnosed the problem, ordered a part which arrived the following evening and he was back just after 9 the next day to fit it. I get very nervous with any security issues so such a prompt service was a great relief. I am mightily relieved we didn't need a new door! We really appreciated the professional service.

We were suddenly unable to open our front window and weren't sure why. John agreed over the phone to come & look to see if he would be able to fix it straight away or if he'd need parts. He's a really friendly, professional man. He worked quickly and carefully, and I enjoyed chatting with him as he worked. Our window now opens and on his way out he also kindly tweaked our front door to stop the squeak and to get a tighter seal! I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again if required, and would highly recommend him to anyone needing help.

Decided on this local Locksmith and was not disappointed. After initial contact, John arrived well within a couple of hours and after finding out the cause of the jammed lock on our conservatory outer door, had to go off and get a new gearbox and lock for the door. He was back within an hour and parts fitted and checked in no time at all. Job well done by a very professional, knowledgeable and friendly guy. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend this company. The locking mechanism on our elderly bathroom UPVC window broke. Another supplier had visited and said they would order a part but never got back to me after that. John asked for a photo of the mechanism and said it was obsolete but he could fix it with other parts that he had. We agreed a cost, a date and a time and he arrived bang on time. As the window is upstairs and opens outwards it was not an easy job and took well over an hour. John also then provided helpful advice on another window and a door. His bill was exactly as we had agreed. John is polite and very reassuring. He also agreed to wear a mask. I just wish I had found him first time round!

Polite, professional and approachable. Not only was attendance to my property incredibly quick, John even arrived early! Each option or query that I had asked about on windows and doors etc were explained in detail which provided me with a better ability to choose the best solution. The fee was reasonable and work very clean and tidy. Most importantly with a business or organisation that deals with locks and assisting in securing your premises, I felt that John was honest and trust worthy. I contacted ASAP Locksmiths previously because we had a problem with our new french windows - very poor customer service from the installer. I spoke to John on the phone and he confirmed his fee over the phone, was only around the corner and arrived promptly. He really is a nice bloke - polite, friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable with a wealth of experience. Job was completed quickly with a guarantee that if there were further problems he would come back and fix them. There were no further problems and his rates were very reasonable. Last night we had a problem with the lock on our front door - phoned him out of hours. He was very helpful over the phone, providing practical advice so that the door could be secured until the next day and therefore not attract an after hours call out charge. He suggested I phoned for quotes from other contractors before deciding - the other quotes were quite frankly eye watering. We managed to sort the problem out and his services were not required. I was impressed by his genuine interest and customer service over the potential to make a quick profit. It is this sort of business ethos that is so sadly lacking with other tradesmen I have encountered. This is the second time I have used this company and cannot praise them highly enough. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services.

I contacted ASAP Locksmiths as the lock assembly on my garage door had come away. John confirmed his standard fee over the telephone but the job took less than 30 seconds and he did not charge me the full fee. I would not hesitate in recommending ASAP Locksmiths.

John Bowler is the nicest man, polite, friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Our rear lobby door jammed shut on a Sunday night. I feared the worst thinking the door might have to be broken down to get it open. Called John 9:15 Monday morning, he was very reassuring and said he'd come over as soon as he could. He arrived at 10:45. Within 1 minute he had the door open! He took the lock mechanism out, inspected and tested each part, he said "unfortunately its the gearbox that's gone" and he showed me the problem. Fortunately he has the correct one on board and by 11:30 the door was fixed. To say I was happy and relieved was an understatement. First class service. 100% recommendation....and he was kind enough to point out the 10% discount because I had found him in the littlegreenbook.
