I have used Home Counties Roofing twice in 2025. The first occasion was at my business premises where they laid a new flat rubber roof for me and the second occasion was at my home where they installed Velux windows into my roof. On both occasions the work was carried out professionally, on time and to the budget we agreed with minimum fuss. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Home Counties Roofing.

Due to previous leaks from multiple points and general deteriorations of my Flat Roofs and Pitched Roof, I decided that it was time for the full replacement. I contacted a few companies included Home Counties Roofers which was highly recommended by my next-door neighbour - who had tried many companies to fix their home extension's flat roof leak, it was only sorted (and done well) by Home Counties Roofers. Home Counties Roofers provided the best price (which I usually feel varied about), they provided as thorough detailed quotes and with the top quality of materials as others but without those fancy, over the top modern quote accepting system, websites etc. What set them apart was that they provided the best suggestions/recommendations for what are importance, what are worth spending money on and most importantly what are not worth it. Alistair was very helpful, experienced and honest with his opinions. He was willing to help where he could. He never pushed for sale; he tried to save the cost in the favour of clients. With all these reasons and with the next door's recommendation I decided to go with them and decided to get the complete work done including the pitched roof, flat roofs, soffits, fascias and gutters. They were also very helpful in agreeing to take my front sliding door out too. From the quote to the end, Claire and Alistair kept good communication throughout. They answered all my queries and worries promptly. Kept me updated on when the work would be started. On the work itself, Alistair and team did an amazing job. They were professional, punctual, reliable, hardworking and friendly. They turned up 7:45 everyday, worked hard throughout the day, rarely stopped! Everyone in the team knew what they were doing, they seemed to be very well trained and managed. The worksite was well organised, clean and tidy. They ended up completed the work even earlier than planned. I couldn't have asked for a better trade person/team. They took stress out of this stressful situation. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good roofer. I wish we have more of these good old fashion, hardworking and trustworthy trades. I am very picky and just had very bad experience from another builder for my cloakroom renovation which gave me so much headache and stress, so Home Counties Roofers was a dream.
