Miles made such a good job of re-setting my ridge tiles (and replacing a previously-cracked roof tile while he was at it) that I asked him back to remove the extensive and years-old clumps of moss from the roof, a job he has just completed at a competitive price. The result is astounding: the roof looks as good as new. The area was left clean and tidy with the moss removed from site. I am a great supporter of the little green book because it has proved time and again to list the very best of tradespeople. Miles is rightly included as one of those.

Miles and his team replaced a front door flat roof porch which needed rebuilding as it was very old and starting to fall down. The work was done to a very good standard as per his detailed quote. Despite some adjustments to the scope of work and some minor complications discovered along the way, the budget remained as per quote and Miles showed a very helpful, practical and flexible attitude to geting the work done. Realistic pricing and a 10 year guarantee. Excellent communication throughout. Very pleased.

Excellent service. Miles came out with his partner to fix a leak from my roof into the loft. He repaired the chimney immaculately, fitted a chimney cap, and was professional throughout. He also cleaned up thoroughly afterwards, clearing all the mess from the roof. I’m extremely pleased with the result and would highly recommend him.

Simon and his son Miles have helped us twice this year. One job involved renewing a large piece of leading in an awkward place and the other replacing three large areas of slate roof on our Edwardian house. You could not wish for a more hard-working and skilful pair. Their craftsmanship was excellent, as was their attention to detail at every stage of the job.They provided insulation and any necessary guttering. They were also very nice people to have around the house. The communication between us was also excellent so the stress of having this work done was much reduced.

We called Simon out to fix a dislodged roof tile after the recent storm. He turned up promptly and completed the work with no fuss or mess. While he was up there he checked the remaining tiles - which were OK. We have used Simon before and can't recommend him highly enough. He's straightforward, gets on with the job & there is no unnecessary extra work that you find with some tradesmen. He's reliable and the work is completed to a high standard - an excellent tradesman.

We wish to comment on the excellent work carried out on our property in Marlow, in the past and recently, by Simon Mann. We have known, and used the services of Simon for many years and have always been very satisfied indeed for any work he has done for us including: cleaning and maintaining all gutters, cleaning and maintaining our conservatory roof, roofing on both kitchen and garages and later installing a roof light in the kitchen – which he carefully sourced to find the best and most economical product. His recent work included repairs to the house roof and cleaning all gutters. He visited the site to give us an estimate in advance and arrived as planned on time and completed the work swiftly and most efficiently.

Simon has just completed a roof repair for us to a really high standard. The work should have been general pointing and moss clearance but it turned out that the joists where rotten! Simon replaced them for us without hesitation, even though there was far more extra work for him! The overall finished result is to a very high standard. You can tell Simon takes great pride in his work and we would definitely recommend him. His prices are reasonable, and he is very pleasant and polite.

He's replaced 2 velux windows which were really old and rotten; he's fitted new guttering; he's repaired flashing; he's fitted chimney cowls; and he's just replaced an old asbestos garage roof with a new steel one. We gave Simon Mann and colleague the business to replace 4 old Velux windows. The job was undertaken to a very high standard, from the ordering of special non-standard triple glazed windows and flashings through to the installation and final tidying/clean-up. A hard working team who were, polite, friendly, experienced and realistically priced so we have no hesitation in recommending. The final result - just great!

Simon and his team re-pointed the verge tiles on our garage. The quote was very reasonable and the finish is immaculate. He cleared up on completion and everything was very tidy when he and his colleague left. The most impressive thing for me was that he spotted a loose roof tile on the main house which was rectified at no extra cost. I found him to be polite and very approachable. I would not hesitate to recommend him - a thoroughly professional tradesman.
