We have used Tom Bayly for the last three years to attend our numerous trees and hedges and would thoroughly recommend him as hard working, punctual, thoughtful and tidy . He charges a fair and reasonable price.

Tom did an outstanding job for me. He is extremely knowledgeable and gave helpful advice about what needed doing. He organised all the permissions needed for the tree surgery and stuck to the time frame. Reliable, skilful and hard-working - he and his partner worked incredibly hard from 8am till dark, going the extra mile by chopping up logs for us too. I could not have been more delighted. Highly recommended!

Tom and his team have just done our annual Winter cutback of shrubs and trees. As last year he carried out the work efficiently and is helpful and friendly. I find him easy to deal with and he doesn't talk you into unnecessary tasks. He clearly is knowledgeable and I would recommend him without reservation.

I highly recommend Thomas Bayly if your looking for someone who will do an excellent job in all areas of tree work Thomas's work for me in pollarding a large cherry tree and crown reducing and thinning three very large oak trees was exemplary. His work was that of a highly skilled arborist. Pleasingly he was also very tidy, removing all the waste.

I found Tom Bayly Tree Services Ltd through a word of mouth recommendation. Its a small business that has private and corporate clients, helping them with tree maintenance: for us with pruning trees, hedges and helping an old oak tree back to heath by clearing its dead branches and fungi growths. Tom is personable, efficient, competent and offers a great service. He knows his stuff. As a small busienss there is no VAT on the bill, which helps private clients. He is based in Henley and I'd highly recommend to anyone in need of tree care.

I asked Tom to reduce the height of several trees at my house in Marlow. He came at the time and date he said he would, was very friendly, and made sure that we were happy with what he planned to do. The work was done very efficiently, and he and his colleague made sure that everywhere was left in a clean and tidy state. All at a very competitive price. I am very happy with the job he did and can thoroughly recommend him on both quality of work and price.

Tom Bayly Tree Works Tom recently shaped and pruned three quite large fruit trees and did an excellent job of work. He was careful to understand our requirements and observe them. The care he took in clearing up surprised me and because I am disabled was a big relief. His price was very reasonable and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

I would highly recommend Tom Bayly - he is an extremely knowledgeable tree surgeon who is particularly skilled. He knows everything there is to know about trees, woodlands and the natural environment. Tom has undertaken several rounds or tree work for me over the last few years - from the straightforward to the complicated. It's always been a really great and tidy job, coupled with very helpful arboreal advice. There is no-one else I would go to - he's the best.

After having asked a few contractors to quote to deal with a tricky (nearly dead) lime tree in a Conservation Area – I was somewhat assured by Tom in our pre-work conversation when he described how he would tackle the tree given a) its size b) the fact that it was pretty much dead apart from a few branches and c) its proximity to my neighbour’s house and boundary fence.

 

When the team arrived they dealt with the tree very effectively and to a high standard – you could tell they were used to dealing with this kind of thing and took pride in their work.  They had some time left at the end and spent this helping me deal with an oak tree which has been down and getting in the way for nearly 8 years and then left the place in great shape as far as tidying up etc.  I wouldn’t hesitate to use Tom and his Team again or recommend them for any Tree work, large or small.

I would be really delighted to recommend Tom - in terms of services he has taken down a diseased tree for us, managed existing trees and cut hedges and wisteria. He has done a beautiful job with all of these, he has a great eye for detail and takes a real pride in leaving the garden immaculate when he’s finished. For example when he took the tree down he offered to create as many logs as we wanted and removed the rest, and stacked a lot of the smaller cut branches to create a bug hotel for the kids. He’s also rescued several overgrown hollies/hornbeams for us and they look like brand new trees! Tom is always prompt and quotes accurately and very reasonably, and is so friendly that it’s lovely to have him around for the day. We fully intend to keep using him regularly and would highly recommend him.
