Abattis has now been trading, as a company, for over 20 years. A family-run business, between them they have over 50 years’ experience installing intruder alarms, fire alarms; hard-wired or wireless, CCTV; access control and door entry systems. Accredited by the SSAIB for the installation of intruder alarms, meaning that every new installation is certified to comply with the latest British and European standards, and recognised as compliant by insurance companies. They can provide monitored systems for Police or keyholder response, self-monitored through an app or standard audible-only systems, with parts and labour guaranteed for two years. They can carry out repairs and additional works to existing systems, as well as taking over the annual servicing of systems installed by others. A call-out service is also available in the event of an emergency.

Greg from Abattis attended to investigate an issue with communication via our gate intercom. Although the fault wasn’t immediately obvious on the first visit, he took the time to properly assess the system and returned to resolve the issue rather than suggesting unnecessary replacements. Very professional, considerate, and honest in his approach. The problem was fixed efficiently and we were pleased with the service provided. Would happily recommend.

Great response and service from Abattis Security Systems Ltd in Reading last week. My alarm went off after a power cut and needed prompt battery replacement which was carried out very quickly by Greg. Very reasonable charge too. Got the details from Little Green Book so very pleased all round.

We had Abattis replace our ADT alarm, They were very competitive in their quote, and we are very pleased with the system installed. Greg and his son were very friendly and efficient installing the system and very responsive to any questions we had regarding operating the alarm system. I would definitely recommend Abattis and Greg, a great company to deal with with excellent customer service.

Greg was very knowledgeable about the industry and listened to what I was after, and suggested comparable products to what I had been looking at. Even though we had a few teething troubles with the products selected they were dealt with by Greg in perfect time. His prices were very reasonable and he did exactly what was required. To me, he was the only one that wanted to help and listened to what I wanted. I would certainly use him again.

The upgrade was on Greg's recommendation and was not in fact my most expensive option. The work was carried out efficiently and professionally. The alarm stopped working after about two weeks. Greg correctly diagnosed a faulty board (a manufacturing fault - not faulty installation). He obtained a new board from the manufacturer and replaced the faulty one within a week. The alarm has been working well since then. I have known Abattis for two years or so. I have found them quick to reply to messages and come out quickly to resolve problems.

Having rung Abattis as our alarm would not stop ringing, they arrived promptly, explained what was wrong and fixed at an acceptable price. They are efficient and polite. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.
