He has done an excellent job, smoothing out our ceilings and working with difficult paint. We used Marc previously to decorate our house from top to bottom, so it was only natural that when we moved house, we sought Marc’s services once again to decorate our home. This included some challenging repairs to a number of botched ceiling repairs from the previous owners due to water damage. Marc made good that you would have never known the difference. There was no straight wall in the house. Marc worked hard to fill and sand the walls, wood work, ceilings and coving. We are very pleased with Marc’s work and have recommended him to family. We plan to ask Marc to paint our study later in the year.

Marc was excellent. He had decorated for a neighbour who recommended him to us. He was professional and thorough and did an excellent job. He was easy to have around in the house. All you have to do is supply him with plenty of cups of tea! We would strongly recommend him.

Marc did an excellent job of painting our hall, stairs, landing, kitchen and cloakroom. It wasn't an easy job because a lot of it required working from a ladder, but the finish is perfect. He was a clean, tidy and friendly person to have in the house. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others. Marc was a pleasure to have in our house when he repainted our lounge, dining area and hallway. Great eye for detail. He seamlessly filled some areas were our electricians had channelled out walls for new sockets and light switches. Happy to give us advice on other bits of work we are planning on tackling ourselves. We will definitely have him back for some redecorating next year. Everything from initial quote (very competitive) to final clear up and invoice was great. Highly recommend.

He arrived promptly on the first day of the decorating, and each day kept us informed of progress and what would happen the next day. Marc painted and wall papered our nursery, put up coving, painted our spare room and was able to remediate certain defects in our living room from a previous decorator (who is not, I should add, in the Little Green Book!). Marc’s attention to detail is superb. His work is faultless. He was a real pleasure to have in the house and was very tidy and punctual. We will without doubt use Marc again.

I cannot recommend Marc highly enough. He recently completed a very challenging redecoration to our kitchen, conservatory and utility room following some electrical and damp treatment works. His skill in making good holes, cracks and plaster damage is incredible. Marc is very tidy and dust is kept to the absolute minimum. He also did some exterior decorating to a very high standard. Marc’s charges represent good value for money considering the quality of finish.

Marc has just completed decorating several rooms upstairs and our stairs and hallway. The work was completed to a high standard and Marc was friendly and professional. He worked really hard to prep some old door frames and they are now looking like new. He was extremely tidy and we would highly recommend him.

Marc completed some painting for us in January - sealing water damaged ceiling marks and re-painting them so that they can't be seen and also painting three wardrobe door surrounds. He was very tidy and professional and did a great job and for a great price and was finished when he said he would be. We'd highly recommend him and if we have any more painting work that needs doing, we'll definitely be contacting him first.

Second time we've had Marc for some decorating. This time two living rooms and a utility room. Marc works cleanly, everything not being painted carefully covered. Minor difficulties like a surface that was not accepting paint properly dealt with without fuss. Will have him back again.

I decided to use Marc for decorating after reading his excellent reviews in The Little Green Book. I was not disappointed. Marc was always on time, worked fastidiously throughout the day and produced a brilliant finish to bedroom, kitchen and hallway. I recommend him and would use him again. Prices are reasonable too.

We recently used Marc, for the second time, to re-plaster/paint our dining room and a spare bedroom. As in the previous occasion we were very impressed with Marc's work - both rooms look amazing, as new and are perfect. His attention to detail is meticulous and he works with hardly any mess/ inconvenience to us. He is very considerate and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I also love the way he always leaves the rooms spotlessly clean and hovered when he has finished the job. On this occasion I also asked him if he could paint a pine bed frame white (as I had been unable to find a new white bed frame I liked) which he did and I am so pleased - the bed looks brand new and fits perfectly in the newly decorated bedroom. Not only is his work professional but Marc himself is a lovely and pleasant guy and we trust him completely in our house so much so we always give him a house key so he can come and go as need be. He always arrives on time and gets the job done in the time promised. We will use Marc again and I wholly recommend him to anyone needing an excellent painter and decorator.

We recently used Marc again (he painted our halls and lounge two years ago) to plaster and paint our dining room. Once again we were very impressed with his service and work. He is easy to deal with and always responsive. The work he did in our dining room is amazing and he has changed a drab room into one that looks bright and new (could be in a brand new house as everything is so perfect). We had lots of cracks and some other issues which he has completely sorted and the walls are smooth. The other thing that really impresses me with Marc is how tidy and neatly he works. You would not even know he had been there (except for the beautiful dining room we have now!) when he had left. We are about to arrange for some more work from him to paint our spare bedroom.

We were so impressed with Marc' s work with our downstairs woodwork we have since used him to completely redecorate the upstairs our our house (4 bedrooms and landing, walls, ceilings and woodwork). Some of the existing walls were in bad condition and I had expected him to have to use lining paper, but his making good skills are really impressive so he got a great finish without any lining paper. We are delighted with the job he has done and would be happy to use him again and we thoroughly recommend him.

It started very well when Marc was the only one of 3 decorators we asked to quote for some work who took his shoes off when he came into our home. Marc carried out a very professional re-decoration of our lounge including re-plastering the ceiling and making good the uneven walls. The finished product is spectacular. Considering Marc was doing plastering work there was minimal mess and very little clean up to do on our part. Marc cannot come more highly praised and we will not hesitate to use his services again.
