Gary and John were extremely professional and courteous during their time completing our Tar and Chip driveway! Gary visited me literally within a day of contacting them requesting a quotation. The written quotation was provided with all items agreed to be carried out and identified. Assurance was given that anything unforeseen would be covered by the quotation provided and no additional costs would be incurred, unless extra to the agreed works of course! All works were completed on time and to an incredible standard. The best driveway in the street! I highly recommend Tar and Chip. A highly compacted layer of sub base stone with a liquid layer of tar spread over the top followed by a layer of pea shingle which is rolled into the tar creating a very firm, gravel look drive way. This is the future of driveways! I highly recommend this local family business to anyone. Thank you both.

I highly recommend Elite Block Paving Ltd. Gary, John and Jez were great from start to finish. Always polite and friendly. Site left tidy at the end of each day. Gary checked that we were happy with what we were getting at every stage of the process. The driveway looks amazing. We have had so many fantastic comments from passers by.

We have just had a large drive in Caversham brick blocked by Elite Block Paving. Gary Gregory and his team did an outstanding job and we are very happy with the result which looks superb. John Gregory and his crew have just completed my driveway. My initial thoughts were modified after discussion with John, but no pressure was applied. During the actual construction they were always on time. The construction machinery and material delivery caused no problems (other than he would not let me have a go on the machinery). The end result is great and I would have no problems in recommending John.

Our road committee recently employed John and his team to repair and surface dress our road. John gave us a good price, did a great job and was very patient with the residents who wanted reassurance about what was being done! Berkshire County Driveways have just completed the upgrading of my drive and patio with tar and shingle finish. The B.C.D team, whilst pleasant and friendly to have around, approached the job with professionalism. The work was completed in line with their promised schedule, aided by their having up to date equipment, and everywhere left clean and tidy.
