This was a fantastic job from beginning to end. Rob and Graham worked very hard in sometimes adverse weather to produce a really excellent gravel driveway and side path to match. At the rear of the house, they also completed two sides of fencing, laid slabs to two new patio areas and created a base for a greenhouse that has transformed the space. This was extensive residential groundwork that was in absolutely capable hands. They delivered a high quality finish that we are thrilled with and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

I recently used KC Improvements to construct a new block paved driveway at the front of the house. This also involved the re-build of two brick walls and the creation of a new soakaway. Rob and his team were very professional in their approach, always punctual and extremely neat and tidy workers. They worked tirelessly over the week and did a cracking job in the end. As such, I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending KC Improvements in future.

We needed a long strip of block paving adjacent to an existing front driveway. Rob promptly visited the site and we discussed our needs and Rob immediately showed an understanding of the issues involved. He promptly presented a written estimate and in the event the final bill was marginally less than quoted due to something not being needed. The work was completed to schedule and we are delighted with the finished result. They were very tidy workers, clearing up as they worked. Punctual, polite and proficient. Highly recommended!

The work was to extend and block pave our front drive, whilst re-using some of the existing stone work to re-make a retaining wall. Replace fencing down the length of one side of our property. My wife and I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

KC Improvements have done two jobs for me, both in the last two months.

The first job was to resolve a problem with rainwater not draining away from the gutters and required the construction of a soakaway.  The second job was to repair a damaged fence.

Rob always turned up on time, was familiar with the regulations regarding soakaways and the various options, and provided a clear written estimate for the work.  He carried out the work in the promised time slot and left the workplace clean and tidy.  His bill was presently promptly and was for the amount of the quote.

Rob himself is very personable, polite and professional.  Both jobs were carried out when we were away but I had no qualms about letting Rob just get on with it and he didn't let me down.

Rob McLellan and KC Improvements were very professional from start to finish. The standard of their work was excellent, we were kept fully informed at all times on the progress of the work. Our driveway was completely refurbished and it was not a straight forward site with a steep slope and various cambers to take into account – several companies has refused to even contemplate the job, but Rob had no hesitation and I immediately felt confidence in him. He and Graham were always punctual, courteous, hard working and extremely tidy, even when the excavation work was being carried out. The final result was excellent and better than we had hoped for. We would definitely recommend this company.
