Tony has taken on 2 jobs for me recently at short notice (fixing lighting and wiring problems and adding new sockets) and I’m very happy with the work done both times including dealing with unexpected safety issues from old DIY wiring uncovered as the work progressed. Tony offered good solutions to problems, did exactly what he said he would when he said he would and he left a neat finish even where holes had to be cut in underflooring that won’t be seen. Communication was great before and during the work. Highly recommend and will be very happy to use Tony again for future work needed.

Tony at Jelade Electrical did a great job re-wiring our house - he replaced the distribution board, added sockets, recessed the existing sockets and checked our lighting. He also added external lighting and sorted out the mess left by previous owners' home wiring. He stuck to his estimated time and any small mistakes were swiftly addressed free of charge. He provided plenty of information and gave good advice regarding different solutions. I recommended him to a friend who had a similarly good experience.

Tony has just done a brilliant job sorting out what turned out to be a broken extractor fan that had tripped all my lights. He was also able to sort out a bizarre light switch layout on a staircase in the same visit. He comes highly recommended by friends and I'll definitely use him again for any future electrical jobs.

Tony Stewart installed quite complicated lounge ceiling lights with new circuits and mixed lighting after the ceiling replastered. He also installed new lights in kitchen. Very helpful and fixed to a very high standard at a very fair price.
Tony did an amazing job for us including great help with the design. He was quick to get on with the job and was tidy in his work. A 10 out of 10 job .

Tony was an absolute gent. He turned up with an hour on an emergency call out. Unfortunately he couldn’t fix the problem that night (my fuse box had essentially caught fire due to a faulty installation) however, he moved an arrangement he had on the following day to attend first thing the next morning to sort the issue out. He had to source parts from various retailers before he could get to me the following morning but was still with me before 09:00. My 10 month of and 3 year old girls couldn’t be more appreciative. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough. He’s an absolute diamond.

Tony was excellent. He fitted us in at short notice when we needed an electrical inspection for moving house. When he found faults he tracked these down and fixed them for us and returned the next day to replace our consumer unit which did not meet current standards. He is very professional and a really nice chap. Highly recommended. It's a pity that we are moving out of the area as we would definitely have used him again.

I had a couple of items I wanted sorted out (a PIR light that was not working and a bathroom light that had a fault). Tony was able to sort out both items quickly and easily. He explained in simple terms what the problem was and what was needed to resolve both problems. He worked hard and did not stop for cups of tea or coffee as some tradesmen do and did a good job. He was friendly and helpful. He advised me what the cost was likely to be in advance of doing the work which is not the case with all tradesmen. He had just returned from abroad so I was expecting to have a long wait before he could come round but he appreciated my anxiety to get the work done asap and was able to do my job the following day which I really appreciated. I can thoroughly recommend him to any prospective clients.

Tony has been our electrician for nearly 20 years. During this time he has completed many jobs for us inside and outside of the house. He has recently worked on two large jobs, firstly the kitchen which required moving the sockets and putting up the spotlights. He advised us on the types and choices of spotlights available and positioning. Tony chased the walls out and then run the first wiring to just where it was needed and left them safe until the plastering was completed. He was extremely flexible and slotted in around the other work that needed to be done. Tony has most recently completed the electrics in our bathroom and hallway. Tony is reliable, professional and friendly. He gives good sound advice, his workmanship is second to none and he leaves everything extremely tidy. We have recommended him to other people. If you want an electrician who's all of the above. Tony is your man!

I called upon Tony's services at the recommendation of my estate agent when my buyer requested an electrical inspection report just before we were due to exchange. Tony went about undertaking the inspection and advised the remedial work that needed to be carried out in order to achieve a clean report. He explained everything to me very clearly so I knew exactly what the issue was and what needed to be done to fix it. The remedial work needed to be completed within a matter of days to meet the exchange deadline and Tony gave up his weekend to make sure this happened. I would recommend Tony all day long!

Tony's superb; brilliant at his work & always upbeat. The first job Tony did for us was 5 years ago when he installed the complete electrical system to an outbuilding that we were converting into a dwelling. Since then he's renewed the electrics to our workshop, added security lighting and outdoor electric points and replaced the main house circuit board plus numerous light fittings. He's first class - knowledgeable, thoughtful to needs, focused and efficient. Paper work & certifications are emailed quickly. He's always happy to call in and give advice & a quote. Tony recently travelled outside his normal zone to do work in for us in Manchester. He carried out a complete test on the houses electrics prior to being put out for rental. He located a couple of faults plus a non-compliant component which were rectified and replaced to bring the system in line with the latest regulations. We now have peace of mind for ourselves and the tenants, what more can you ask. Tony has been our number one electrician on the Estate for over 10 years now. He's always very reliable, professional and the quality of his work and his attention to detail is quite frankly faultless. As a buildings manager I deal with every type of tradesman, during my 10 years here I can honestly say I've never had a single issue with Tony during this time. In fact Tony is one of those rare tradesman you can put your complete trust in, anybody who deals with various different contractors on a regular basis will appreciate what a rare commodity that is. In short Tony is by far my favourite contractor, aside from that fact that he's a lovely chap, I know that whenever I need to call Tony in I simply don't have to worry which from my own perspective is priceless. In terms of the type of works carried out by Tony on the estate these have been wide ranging and varied. As we are a 500 year old estate with over 30 residential, commercial and agricultural buildings his duties have been too numerous to list. In essence his basically done all sorts for us from the very small, changing a light fitting to the larger complete re-wiring jobs.
