Fantastic service and incredibly professional. John and Amanda at Fireplace Magic came highly recommended from friends and neighbours and I can now understand why. Happy to answer questions in the store or via email, happy to update estimates to reflect changes we requested. The actual installation was amazing, John and team were incredibly polite, clean and thorough. I wish all experiences of having work done at our house were as good as this.

I live in Reading and got the name of Fireplace Magic from the Little Green Directory. They were courteous, helpful and professional at every point of contact. The engineers called at exactly the time they had said they would. They explained what would happen at each stage of the service. I had a number of questions which they answered fully and they were very professional in every respect. I can thoroughly recommend this business and their employees. Excellent service.

These guys are just incredible. They installed a lovely fireplace in our house in the middle of chaotic renovations, but fitted their dates in very well with the rest of the project on super short notice.
I also recently had a question about the fireplace and I got a reply to my email within 5 minutes - so was able to lit the fire immediately, which was lovely. If I could give 6 stars I would! -

Fantastic experience. Quick and easy to book in a chimney sweep, Scott was in and out and I barely knew he was here. Polite and friendly and super helpful. 100% recommendation!

Arrived in the given time slot to sweep the chimney which had not been swept for years. Left the room spotless. Staff were courteous and professional. Would highly recommend their services.

I don’t often do reviews, but I’m making a exception because Fireplace Magic are an exceptional outfit. John did a site visit before quoting on the work, gave straight answers to all our questions, and offered really relevant advice. Amanda likewise was patient, helpful and generous with her time.
We bought a wood burner which turned out to be absolutely perfect for our fireplace and our needs. John & Scott arrived to break open the fireplace and install the stove, on time; they worked efficiently and considerately, and cleaned up after themselves. The subsequent visit to commission and certify the stove (fire it up and check everything works as it should) was an opportunity for further advice and information.
Amanda, John and Scott are proper professionals in their field; experienced and conscientious. It was a real pleasure doing business with them. -
Scott did a great job cleaning our chimney and was a pleasure to meet. Arrived on time, ensured the carpet and surrounds were kept clean. Would highly recommend.

It was a delight to deal with Fireplace Magic. John, Scott and Amanda were always responsive to any queries and took time to listen and work out what we hoped to achieve. And they did! They removed an existing electric fire and fireplace surround and enlarged the opening to accommodate the wood burning stove we had chosen. Having left behind two stoves in our old house we are now feeling really at home with our new wood burner. Many thanks to them all for their patience and good humour, and their knowledgeable, efficient and professional service.

We had excellent service from John at Fireplace Magic. Our fireplace had been installed by a different company that we were not happy with a couple of years ago. John came and put everything right for us. We just regret not having used Fireplace Magic first time around!

We have used Fireplace Magic for two stove installations - the first was a wood burner and the second (recently) was gas. Both installations have been excellent. The most recent was well planned, with good initial advice, and delivered on time (both the stove install and the gas fitting). Also cleaned up well after the install.
