Sean and his company have completed a lot of plumbing and gas work including new boiler installation, relocating gas pipes as part of a renovation project. Highly impressed with the quality of workmanship. No corners cut even if it meant the work taking longer. Pipework neat and tidy. Sean and his son worked non stop to get jobs done whenever on site. Very knowledgeable professionals in their trade, would highly recommend. Will use for all our future servicing and plumbing needs such was our experience of them.

I found Sean through the Directory in 2017, when he managed to repair our old boiler, which had been on its last legs for some years. That bought us the time to have a new Worcester Bosch Greenstar boiler installed soon after. That came with a 5-year guarantee and service contract, but as soon as the warranty lapsed, I was keen to get back in touch with Sean for our annual servicing, as I know he will do a very thorough job and is easy to contact should any problems occurs between services. Much less stressful than listening the British Gas hold music for an hour whenever you try and call them!! Sean has now completed his third service of our current boiler and was able to return the next day to undertake some important remedial work (minor leak of gas) arising from a slightly bodged installation dating back to before we purchased the property. Sean's son is now part-way through an apprenticeship with him, so Surefire Gas Services looks to be in good hands for the future.

My boiler broke down ten days ago and the company I was insured with let me down very badly and I was without any form of heating and hot water for nine days. Sean from SUREFIRE Gas Services was recommended by a friend and he came round the next day to assess the problem. Two days later he was back and did a FANTASTIC job , spending over four hours to make sure everything was running smoothly. Sean was very efficient , tidy-cleaning up everything before he left and my boiler is working perfectly. I Would STRONGLY RECOMMEND Sean, he is efficient, hard working, very professional and a very nice man.

Sean spent 3 days installing a new boiler and curing many awkward problems which we had inherited when we bought the house. Nothing was too much trouble. He brought Dad along to assist and they were both very considerate and respectful. Sean is very skilled and knowledgeable and dealt with every difficult problem I presented to him. Every care was taken to protect my property which was left spotless. A very polite and friendly pair, I shall not hesitate to call on again and will certainly recommend.

We had a back boiler replaced with a new boiler in the loft, the service and workmanship was first class. The job was quite complex but was complete well within the stated time and cost was as per the estimate. Dust sheets were used throughout, everything was cleaned up and all the waste materials were removed. The new system works well and we would highly recommend Sure Fire Gas Services.

We called Sean at Surefire Gas Services following problems with our heating/boiler that had been ongoing and that our home emergency cover company had not rectified. I have only good things to say about Sean, he clearly takes pride in what he does and does not leave anything left half-finished. Sean replaced my boiler had the job all but done within two days when a fault in the (twenty year old) cylinder meant that it had to be replaced. Despite having to undo some of the work he'd already completed and having to spend an extra day replacing the cylinder he didn't rush anything and stuck around until after 7pm on the final day to finish tidying up and to walk me through what I needed to know. He arrived on time every day, and was very flexible about coming round in the evening to give the original quote. Highly recommended!

Sean installed a new gas boiler, replacing my very old heating oil system. Sean did a fantastic job and was very thorough, especially with the lengthy powerflush and he actually replaced piping sections that were beyond powerflushing. Sean completed the job to the schedule he set out and completed for the price quoted. I highly recommended contacting Sean for any gas work that you need doing.

Sean has serviced our boiler for the past 5 years. We have had odd problems with the boiler from time to time and he is always available to sort them out. He is punctual and a clean and tidy worker. I would recommend him without hesitation.
