Our front door was locked shut and the key simply wouldn’t turn. So glad I found Ian via Little Green Book. When I first got in touch, Ian informed me about his pricing structure up front so that I could make an informed choice, and there were no hidden ‘extras’ at the end of the job. On site he did a great job, diagnosing and fixing the problem with skill and patience. He is clearly very knowledgeable and takes great pride in his work. I highly recommend Ian to anyone looking for a locksmith who knows his stuff!

Saved my holiday! I phoned Link Locksmith Services at 15.50 on Friday in desperation as my lock had jammed & I was unable to lock the door & was due to go on holiday the next day. I used Link Locksmiths in an emergency as our key had broken off in the door. The door was also stiff which probably added to the problem. Ian was professional and easy to deal with from the word go. Easy to contact and communicate with. Great advice and knowledge. He replaced three cylinders for us and the workmanship was to a high standard. The price was reasonable. I would recommend and use again. We had some quotes from some other locksmiths and they were pushing unnecessary extras. They were also not as knowledgeable in terms of building regulations and home insurance requirements. It’s nice to meet someone who listens to you and understands your security needs rather than rip you off. Clean installation and arrived on time. An honest man and excellent at what he does.

After checking online and seeing the well deserved 5 star reviews, I had no hesitation in phoning him. Ian arrived in about 20 minutes. He is very professional,  polite and friendly (with a Father Christmas beard). He took the trouble to take the lock apart and repair it. He could have just replaced the lock, which would have been easier for him, and would have cost me a lot more. I cannot praise him enough. Don't bother phoning anyone else if you have a lock problem.

Great experience. Ian was very clear up front about rates as well as giving me potential costs to resolve my issue (which allowed me to make a "buy new or repair" decision there and then). He attended within the hour (as agreed) and as it turned out was able to make an even cheaper repair than expected!  Absolute spot in service - was more than happy to give advice which was very much appreciated as future reference.  Only down side was my dog managed to chew/break his Bluetooth ear piece - sorry Ian!

Had an issue with my front door mechanism where I could not open it.  Ian finished the job he was on and was to me within an hour.  He quickly had the door open and had the expertise to sort out a new mechanism and make some adjustments to the way the bolts lined up.  Great.  Friendly, professional and efficient service, I definitely chose the right person to ring.

Ian Davies from Link Locksmith Services arrived quickly to resolve an ongoing issue with the lock and catch on my front door last Saturday. I had a previous repair done by a family friend that had not worked and I had removed the catch whilst in the process of painting the door and couldn't get it back on.  Ian spent some time looking at the lock mechanism to check that there were no problems with it and then thoroughly explained all of the issues (put basically, it didn't help that the previous repair was an amalgamation of the new and old lock sets). Once completed I was delighted to learn that he could also cut new keys for me at a very low cost. Overall, I am very pleased with the standard of work carried out. Ian was very professional throughout and charged a reasonable amount for the work,
given that I called after 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. I would definitely forward Ian's details to any of my family or friends in need of a good locksmith.
