After two years of steady growth the maple that Arborfield Tree Care (ATC) attended in 2023 (entry KS 08 23) needed a "haircut". I called ATC and was promised a visit from Martin the day after my phone call. He arrived shortly after 0900 next day. Within 15 minutes of his departure I had his email with a quotation and PDF documents. The price of the work had not changed since 2023. Martin's team arrived on the appointed date at 0830 and trimmed and thinned the tree allowing light into it and restoring its lollipop shape. Leaves and small twigs spread around the garden, pavement and road were removed used various tools, including a leaf blower, leaving everywhere as tidy as they found it an hour earlier. I am pleased to continue to recommend Arborfield Tree Care for the quality of its workmanship and attention to detail.

A call to Arborfield Tree Care (ATC) on its landline number was answered promptly by Joy. She took my details and said that Martin Smith would call next day. Martin arrived at 0850 next day and he proposed a 30% reduction of the maple; it had last been reduced four years ago. Martin promised a quotation by email within the hour. That and other documents arrived in less than fifteen minutes. I accepted the quotation and Joy booked a date for the work in a fortnight. That week I was going to be away for a couple of hours on the scheduled date. When I contacted the office, Kim confirmed that the team would complete the work in my absence. When I returned home that day the work had been completed and my garden tidy. The tree now has a lovely rounded shape again with lots of light into the heart of the tree. Arborfield Tree Care gave prompt and friendly attention to my initial enquiry and in their responses to subsequent emails. That and the professional workmanship on the tree means I can heartily recommend Arborfield Tree Care.

What an impressive company. Arrived promptly and the communication, speed and effectiveness of the team that came to take down a couple of trees and trim another for us was genuinely great to see. The team leader demonstrated great knowledge and the team worked in complete safety (great use of PPE by all team members). It’s rare I feel compelled to comment like this, but these guys were outstanding. Can’t recommend highly enough!

I needed two trees removing from my property. The men came and removed them very quickly and efficiently and cleared up all the tree wood chip cuttings on the floor. I would not hesitate in recommending Arborfield Tree Care to anyone wishing to have trees removed.

We are delighted with the work which involved removing a dying horse chestnut tree and trimming a massive 250 year old Oak Tree at the front of our house, to remove dead and unsafe branches. All mess was cleared off site and the staff worked safely, were pleasant, respectful of our neighbours. They were well equipped for the task ahead and worked nonstop.

Martin and his team came yesterday to trim our very sorry looking silver birch. The team (in the rain) did a very thorough and professional job to our satisfaction. They took great care to protect outbuildings and our neighbours fence from falling branches. They trimmed the tree back by 30% and removed dead wood. The team did very thorough clear up removing all of the debris. We would highly recommend this company.

These guys are AMAZING!!! They came to rescue a very scared, cold and tired 8 month old kitten today, when the RSPCA wouldn't help and the Fire Brigade wasn't able to get close enough to her.
She had been up there for 4 nights in high wind.
