Paul provided a quote quickly to renovate our staircase that clearly outlined the work. There was good communication beforehand and he arrived to start the work on the day planned. Paul arrived promptly, was friendly, chatty, helpful and took care to tidy up each day. He checked regularly that we were happy with the work completed and were very pleased with the finished project. We would definitely use him again for any carpentry work needed.

I've been lucky enough to have had Paul do a number of jobs for me over the years, from refitting a bathroom to a loft conversion and most recently a lovely garden room. He's a real craftsman and perfectionist, and the other tradesmen he brings into the jobs will always be equally professional. He's also got great taste and good judgment, so I tell him roughly what I want done, and he delivers something beyond my expectations. If you want something done well, then Paul is your man.

Paul Wilson and his team have just completed my kitchen replacement. They have all done a very impressive job from removing all the existing kitchen, removing the floor, replastering, updating all the electrics, renewing the plumbing and fitting the new kitchen units. They kept the area clean and tidy and turned up on time each day. Many thanks for a very good job.

Just needed to reduce the height of a large cabinet. Not a big job but one requiring skill and precision. After a brief discussion with Paul he got on with the job and the end result was perfect. He's now on my "go to" for any carpentry in the future.

Paul is a skilled and knowledgeable carpenter. He made 3 thresholds, a new bannister and landing handrail out of white oak to fit onto my existing spindles. I admire them everyday! He also fitted 6 new internal doors to a high standard. He takes pride in his work and is a good communicator. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for an excellent carpenter, kitchen fitter, look no further. Paul is probably one of the best in the business, did an excellent job on my stairs, new handrails and fixed the awful creak every time I walked up them. He’s coming back to do my kitchen, only one problem, he is so good at his job he is busy.

Paul fitted our Benchmarx kitchen a month or two ago and we are delighted with it. Him and his colleague turned up when they said they would and worked really hard to get it done on time. Nothing was too much trouble and the aftercare has been great, really friendly guy.

Had a staircase that has creaked and groaned since we moved into house about 4 years ago. Paul came and inspected it after a half landing failed and identified several aspects that were less than ideal. He has subsequently brought the staircase up to a high standard, squeak free and safe, replacing only what he needed to and cannot fault the work carried out. Very clear plan and execution leaving the house clean at the end of each day.

Paul came at short notice to open our door and change the latch, just after the Christmas bank holiday. He performed the task quickly, then took extra time to provide additional advice. Most importantly, the cost was surprisingly inexpensive, especially considering the time of year. I would definitely recommend Paul to any friends and family.

Paul is a real craftsman and perfectionist. He was the primary contractor for my loft conversion which included two new bedrooms, two new shower rooms, a staircase and then reworking the next floor to extend our bedroom and add a large cupboard. I really could not be happier with the quality of work and the advice. The other contractors he engaged - sparky's, plasters, roofers, plumbers etc. were all fantastic. The attention to detail and quality of craftmanships was impressive and he made so many good suggestions for changes along the way that really improved the end result. I cannot recommend PW Carpentry highly enough.

In need of a carpenter recently as I was looking to replace 6 internal doors I turned to the "Little Green Book"- THE DIRECTORY and having checked the reviews and professional qualifications of various tradesmen I engaged the services of P W CARPENTRY I was very pleased with the standard of work carried out by this young man, being prompt to start on the day, worked continuously (even refusing the offer of tea and biscuits) and cleaning up after each door fitted. The standard of work was excellent and done at a very competitive price. I would not hesitate to recommend this pleasant young man and most certainly would use him again if needed.

Paul installed banisters for us using oak handrails, spindles etc and did a superb job in only two and a half days for a very reasonable price. He left the place very tidy afterwards as well which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend him for this kind of work.
