An excellent personalised service from Nick Manson of Alexander carpets, Wokingham. Nick guided me through to the desired choice of carpet to run through the whole of my apartment with beautiful results. His patience ,skill and knowledge with regard to carpet wearability and longevity were commendable. Richard, the fitter ,was superlative in every way and worked non stop to complete the job over two days with brilliant results. A thoroughly dependable family business, highly recommendable.

Nick did a great job with our new-build house. The carpets are amazing quality and the vinyl parts which I had custom fitted matches our kitchen and bathrooms perfectly. We had a couple of snags in the journey but Nick went above and beyond and delivered an excellent service overall, couldn't be happier. Sometimes it’s not about the mistakes but how you deal with them that counts and for that reason I would recommend Alexander Carpets to anyone. Can't beat, good, local trade.

Stair Carpet. Just had our stairs hall and landing carpeted and well pleased with the result. The service we received was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was to much trouble .

The best experience. We have just had a lounge/dining room carpet fitted by this company. We have nothing but praise for the buying of the carpet and the fitting of it. I have been buying my carpets from Nick at Alexander Carpets for at least 30 years and have always received an excellent service. I have just had new carpets fitted in my lounge and master bedroom and continue to be pleased with everything from the ordering, delivery and fitting by Richard who has done a great job - turning up on time and cleaning up afterwards. They even took the old carpets away for the Salvation Army to recycle!

Highly recommend Alexander Carpets! A great range range of high quality options, and Nick is very knowledgeable and helpful. Nick was able to fit us in quickly, meaning we had carpets for Christmas which was fantastic. His fitter and carpenter were also excellent. Overall great value and service, much better than the corporate carpet companies. We will definitely use them again.

What a find, a relative recommended Alexander Carpets and I know why now. Definitely worth going to a family run business rather than the 'big names'. This was personal service at it's best. From going into the shop and Nick coming to the house with samples the service has been exemplary. The fitter, Richard arrived on time and worked non stop, the workmanship was excellent and he left my bedrooms spotlessly clean and lovely fitted carpets. Can't praise highly enough.

We have used Alexander Carpets for approaching 30 years and cannot recommend them highly enough. Nick is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and reliable. He will go out of his way to find the flooring you require and to ensure it is supplied and fitted in a timely manner. Such excellent service is extremely rare these days - long may he continue.

I recently remodelled my front room and needed to repair a large area of missing carpet - a real challenge. The carpet fitter was able to repair and rejoin the carpets, so that know one could see the join - an amazing job done.

I've used Nick/Alexander Carpets for a number of years. Most recently they advised and saved us money on new carpets and vinyl flooring in a rental property. The results as always are fab and we and the tenants were very impressed. Nick is a no-nonsense kinda guy and that's what I like about him. We need to keep our independent shops going as we lose the knowledge and customer service they are able to provide over the large chain stores.

We had ordered a multi-coloured rug from this company as it was at a great price, however we were then advised that the rug we had chosen was no longer being produced and we were offered a full refund.
Imagine our surprise when Nick Manson phoned us a couple of days later to say that he had found the new replacement for the rug from the manufacturer and gave us the link to view it online. It was ideal and to be honest we even preferred it to the old model. Nick took the order at the original excellent price and it was delivered within 3 days ( 2 actually as we were out when the courier tried to deliver it and had to come back the next day). All this when Nick's shop was closed for a week.
