I'm writing this to state my official recommendation for Hampshire Construction for your paving and driveway needs. Bob Cole was selected to provide block paving and tarmac driveway installation services for a total of about 220 sq.m based on quotes received from several contractors and I only have praise for their business. It was clear from his initial site visit to fully access the scope of the contract that Bob is was an firm belief in delivering a quality product. This commitment to quality was also evident from his very helpful, capable and considerate team through all stages of the work, from the thorough preparation of work area to the eventual final installation of paving and tarmac. Bob and his team's extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the work was clearly demonstrated when the driveway preparation stages highlighted unforeseen problems with underlaying soil structure. They were able to suggest several solutions to address the issue and provided a clear and motivated suggestion for the recommended final option that struck a balance between cost, schedule and quality. From my initial contact with Hampshire Construction, Bob Cole, and his Team have been excellent. Bob visited my property when I was ready to pursue my driveway project. He listened to my requirements and gave expert advice. I had my driveway and entrance widened, a brick pillar moved and the tarmac was run up and through my lean-to extension. All the workmen were very considerate always checking that I was happy. Bob visited the property every day to ensure all was going to plan, and any adjustments (cracked steps) were dealt with without fuss. Completed job looks fantastic and all those that have visited have commented on how the drive looks and has transformed the look of the property. We are very pleased indeed with our new resin bonded chippings driveway. Both the appearance and the quality are excellent.
The installation process was extremely thorough and we were able to choose from among a wide range of colours so that the new driveway matches existing adjacent block paving very well. It will be much easier to maintain in good condition and good appearance then our previous gravel which needed frequent refreshing.

I highly recommend Hampshire Construction for the work they did for us recently. Several weeks ago they replaced our drive and patio with attractive new block paving. We were extremely pleased with the result and last week they replaced a pathway through our back garden too. The team were punctual and completed the job very quickly indeed. At the same time they were careful to cause the minimum disturbance to our well-planted garden. Bob Cole kept a close eye on progress and has given us excellent value for money. Mr Cole visited promptly, listened to our requirements, made suggestions to improve the design and produced an estimate all within 2 days of contact. His workman arrived as agreed, and set to work, Mr Cole visited site regularly to project check and ensure we were happy with the job was proceeding. Our requests for minor adjustments were met with good natured patience by Jason the foreman, who was only concerned we would be happy with the layout. The result is all we hoped for. A good job, cheerful workers and a reasonable price. We are happy to recommend Mr Cole and his team.
