These two were excellent. We had a very last minute issue where we needed a socket moving and a new one put in. Liam came round at very short notice to assess, was very friendly and helpful and they were both round the next day to sort it. I am sorry to say that we were one of “those” customers with a couple of “do you mind doing…” and maybe a “oooh while you're here….” and they were both great about it, gave us a fair price and had everything done in a few hours.

Liam came out to see me on Monday to put up lights in both my bedrooms. I was very impressed by his professional manner and the speed with which he managed to fit the lights. Absolutely magnificent and would highly recommend his services.

Jeff Barnes came out at short notice to fix an electrical problem with my garage door. All sorted in good time. Jeff is a very pleasant man - fair too! Fantastic service.

A father and son team. Outstanding service. Responded to emergency call within 24 hours. Very tidy and no fuss. Resolved electrical problem and cleared all mess. A comfortable attitude with no problem too much. In fact they went the extra mile by doing another job while on site. Came back the next day to plaster the ceiling and finish the job. Cannot praise them too much.

This was the first time that I have used Barnes Electrical Services. I had a faulty ceiling spotlight in the bathroom and phoned at approx. 9am. Jeff Barnes answered straight away and said they could come in the afternoon. His son, Liam, came and said that as the faulty light was a halogen type which was no longer available he recommended replacing all three lights with LED fittings to which I agreed. He then went out and bought them, fitted them, and cleaned up afterwards with the vacuum cleaner. I was very pleased with the work and the price and will certainly use Barnes Electrical Services again.

I had an electrician come round my home on Tuesday 13 November to totally re-do my kitchen lights after they had ceased to function due to my lodger’s carelessness. His charge was very reasonable for 3 hours work and he had the necessary equipment. He came on time.

Our need for the electrical work was urgent and obviously being very good at their job, they were busy and booked up in advance. Jeff fitted us in at the earliest opportunity and with as minimal impact on the operation of our business as he could manage. A very professional outfit, with attention to both details and the needs of our business, I cannot recommend them enough and certainly will use them again.

Contacted Jeff, who arrived on time within 24 hours to re-fix outside BT phone cable in porch and check BT box connections. Quick,friendly, reliable and a good price. Quote for further work supplied.
