Paul and his team have just finished a shower room renovation creating a large loo-tility. This must be the 6th time we have had Paul carry out work on our home. His attention to detail from the quote to craftsmanship is second to none. Paul and his team are always on time, polite, friendly and very tidy. We wouldn’t use anyone else.

Superb work. Paul worked on our kitchen strip down, all walls, ceiling and floor made good, and fitting of the new units and hardware (bringing in efficient specialists for plastering and electrical). The whole thing was very organised and was completed in under 3 weeks. Paul is helpful, skilled, totally reliable and always available for questions or concerns (as well as being a nice guy). The invoice was bang on our expectations, and the quality of the finish and its detail is superb. He will often make small amendments and suggestions without making it a big deal. Brilliant. Totally recommended.

I first contacted Paul in late 2023 and he patiently persisted with me for over six months as I indecisively tweaked our requirements and design preferences. To say we are impressed with the quality of the cabinetry would be an understatement. The workmanship is of the highest standard. We will commission Paul for further work and would have no hesitation in recommending him to others. For the quality of the product, his pricing is extremely reasonable. Highly recommend.

In the last years we have commissioned Mr Paul Cox to do 3 separate complex projects in our home - two integrates chests of draws/wardrobes and most recently a 12-seat Oak table. His workmanship is of the highest standard, achieving a perfect combination of function and aesthetic. We had Paul and his colleague (sorry I forget his name) come to install some new utility cupboards, reinstate a kitchen cupboard carcass and install some latches/thumb turn in oak doors. The work was carried out to a very high standard, on-time, to the price quoted and without any issues whatsoever. Everything was left very neat and tidy. Paul was great at communicating throughout and was able to make helpful recommendations to help guide us given our current cupboard range was no longer available. We had several visits to talk about the job, get Paul's advice, measure and specify the work and then carry it out. Paul has just installed new fitted wardrobes and landing storage cupboards into our home. Throughout the design process he really listened to what we wanted and went to great lengths to match existing features around the house in ways that hadn't occurred to us. He also sourced identical doors to those we already have, and matched new shelving to the same oak finish. He was punctual, polite, respectful, exceptionally clean and tidy and over delivered on the work in all aspects. He provided us with absolutely outstanding workmanship with a finish quality far higher than we were expecting. His quote was much more reasonably priced than a national bespoke furniture design company, and he was infinitely more accommodating and helpful. We really could not be happier with his work, which has transformed our landing and spare room. He truly is a master craftsman.

Paul and his team fitted a new kitchen for us, which included moving external doors/windows, demolishing internal walls, fitting new lintels and levelling floors. The fit and finish is superb! We are absolutely delighted with the quality of the job, as is everyone who has seen it. Several have contacted Paul for quotes on the back of this. Paul turned up when we said he would and contacted us when he said he would. We have no hesitation in recommending Paul!

If you are planning any building works I can not recommend highly enough Paul Cox and his team at PGC Carpentry. I have to be honest and say I was not looking forward to a major renovation of my Kitchen/Garden Room, however Paul made the complete process seamless from initial meeting, to planning the stages of the work, to executing the works The standard of his workmanship, his work ethic and commitment to all the works undertaken far exceeded my expectations. We now have a beautiful space and I can not thank him and his team enough for all the hard work and effort put in to achieve this! I will certainly be signing his praises for a long time.

Paul has just completed our bedroom renovation, knocking into to the eaves to create more space with in-built cupboards. This required losing a stair/landing cupboard which housed a flu from a log burner in the room below. Paul was thorough in his quotes and planning, ensuring options were given so that we could decide on how much we wanted to spend. Paul and his team are prompt and courteous whilst working at my home, they worked long hours to ensure the job was finished on time. This is the 3rd time we have used Paul for renovation work in our home and won't be the last. Highly recommend.

Great job! Paul came and fitted 4 oak doors. Not an easy job in our 16th century cottage as nothing is straight or square but Paul did a superb job. Paul the owner of PGC, has a fantastic attention to detail, from quote to completion of work. He offered great advice and alternative options/costings which was very helpful . We were always kept informed of the schedule of works. Our property was left in a very tidy and clean state every day, which was important to us with children while we continued to live around the extensive conversions to our property. Paul arranged all trades around his works, such as electrics and plastering. All services, had Pauls' exacting standards in both quality and tidiness. New window made from scratch to replace a garage window. Work carefully undertaken and as agreed. He removed an old light which was screwed onto the old window that he had not envisaged dealing with. Altogether a nice job.

Paul and his team have installed fitted cupboards under the stairs in the hallway, a wardrobe and drawers in the recess above the stairs in a bedroom and have refurbished and modernised the staircase. Paul refurbished my kitchen and completely rebuilt my utility room and a family room. Paul handed me a detailed quote with the dates that the work would be carried out. This he did to the letter. Both Paul and the trades that worked alongside him were without exception really competent at their trades and jolly nice guys to have working in my home. Paul surpassed all my expectations of the finished job it looks amazing. Building me a wonderful bespoke shabby chic unit in the family room to house my books and record collections – fabulous workmanship all round. Would I recommend Paul, oh yes absolutely.

Paul renovated a small terraced house for me and did an excellent job. He started the work earlier than expected which was a great help to me. The whole job was carried out in a very professional manner and was completed well within the agreed timescale. Paul showed a sound knowledge of building, is enthusiastic and most reliable. He always came up with solutions to problems, has good ideas and was quite happy to add in extras that occurred as the job progressed. Despite the extra work he still finished the job within the original timescale. All his colleagues were willing and helpful, worked hard and were very efficient.

He completed a set of bespoke shelving and hanging for a walk in wardrobe, custom fitted a home office within an awkward space. Pricing is fair and he doesn't rush the job. Highly recommended.
