We needed a LOT of tree surgery done in our garden in Wokingham. The biggest tree to be removed was a monster, very fat, 60-year old leylandii which was at least 80 feet (25 metres) high - it was at the bottom of our garden, nowhere near road access. An absolute monster - the stump was over a metre in diameter! Some tree surgeons openly said it was beyond them. The biggest firms did quote for the job. Scottscape's quote was the cheapest (not by miles), but around half the cost of some of the others. Scott's team took on the entire job. They section felled around 8 very mature trees completely, and drastically trimmed far more, grinding out the stumps afterwards. Amazingly, it was all done in 5-6 working days. The trees that we asked them to keep, but radically reduce in height don't look a stupid shape (which we feared they might). They've done a super job, including removing the annoying surface roots from a big 60 year old silver birch. As the trees started to disappear, and we could see the garden's potential, we asked for smaller-scale extra work to be done - they did it all. They tidied up every day. Just received the invoice - they've not charged a bean more than originally quoted! They were a pleasure to have working in the garden. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Absolutely delighted.
